Here is a French wood camera built by Ets LORILLON in Paris. From front, it looks like most of wood cameras of that era and seems to have been well used, the not so old Som Berthiot Perigraphe lens let think it has been used for a long time...
in fact most interesting part can be found on the back ->
there is sliding back allowing to shoot 2 pictures on the same glass plate. Not uneasy to understand the French words "Face and Profil" which are almost the same in English language except a supplementary E for profile. :-)
This special camera/back was on use in french Police Department to shoot identity pictures for forensic identification cards. This one probably shot a lot of burglars of all kind !
